This guide features more than 80 sites of wonder and offers valuable insight on how to visit and enjoy them. What’s unique about this guide is that it provides interesting perspectives on each location.

This book is an update of Show-Me…Natural Wonders published in 2007 by Reedy press. Written by Don Corrigan and illustrated by the late Ed Thias. Corrigan, is a former journalism professor at Webster University and longtime editor-in-chief of the Webster Kirkwood Times. Thias who taught art at St Louis Community College provided pencil drawings of each nature area. This updated version also written by Corrigan, is illustrated with high quality photographs by Diana Linsley taken from interesting vantage points and in various seasons.

The mission of the updated book is to entice readers to explore Missouri’s natural wonders. It encourages the reader to hike, jump, bike, climb, float and explore. Or to simply, get out there and see what beauty Missouri has to offer.

Please be reminded to respect the locals both two and four legged. Let the lizards and turtles be. let the flowers and fern flourish, let the smooth shells and cool rocks stay where they belong.
